Cat issues

So Nick and I were sitting there on the couch relaxing and watching TV when Scratt scooted her butt across the floor in front of us. Nick and I looked at each other and said "she has worms", so I went and got some medicine for her. I came back with three tabs that cost more than they should and proceeded to fight with Scratt to get her to swallow a tab. After several attempts to try and get her to swallow resulting in her just spitting it out of her mouth, we decided to try something else. I got the canned food that we have, crushed the pill and mixed it all together. So I put the plate down in front of Scratt and Sasha gets jealous and pushed Scratt out of the way so she could eat the food, well we mixed her a plate too but littler did she know. So they both ate about half of their food and swapped plates, I think that they tasted the medicine and thought the other one didn't have it in theirs. So all in all we are left with two plates of half eaten soft food and medicine mix.

For Eddie

And for you Eddie I am sorry that I didn't keep up very well with the post when we were in Italy, but I will give you a recap. So we went threw a "war" in Italy, the mob declared war on Italy on their national television during late September of 2008. Fun right! Prior to this was our trash dilemma that you all kind of heard about. Well I saw streets filled with trash wall to wall (literally because the building walls line the streets there) and at least 5 feet high. Then the next week you would drive by and it would all be on fire, but this consumed about one out of every three streets. During this time there were threats to those who would try to go on life like every day, a school bus was threatened that their tires would be slashed if they would try to go down one road again. I was also suck on the freeway (only two lanes) in a bus and backed up because we weren't allowed to go any further. then the Italian government sent their army to clean up the trash, and yet again two years later about the same time there are trash issues again. Oh and the Mob before declaring war told the Italian government we are going to shut down Italy just to prove how strong we are, and they did very successfully for a week nothing moved.
Ok so we are still adapting to driving in America again and it can be difficult at times, for instance how much room is acceptable when passing a car. I was driving down the road and there were a line of cars parked on the side of a two lane street and another car was coming in the other direction and I slowed down but kept going. Now that is no big deal right, wrong because I freaked out the other car because they were already in the process of passing the parked cars when I came along. Hey what can I say when that is all the room that you have for 3 years and you are used to passing cars that close you forget you aren't in Napoli anymore.

Our new cars...

So here are some pictures of our newer cars (new to us) that we got when we came back to the States. Yes I have got into a habbit of saying "the States" because overseas that is what the military refer to the US and it is just easier.
